Veloeye is a company based in the Scottish Borders focusing on enabling the cycling community in the UK and Europe to reduce bike theft and improve the chances to retrieve stolen bikes.
Having recently started the company, the Veloeye team wanted to get their marketing on solid ground.
Together, we established a comprehensive marketing strategy & a plan for the company to increase brand awareness & generate new business.
April to July 2015
Marketing strategy & planning, ongoing support
Target group & market research
Defining the best ways to attract new business
Creating a 12-month marketing plan
To get started, I conducted comprehensive market research for the business, including analysing possible target groups and competitors.
Based on those findings, I developed a marketing strategy defining their brand, USP, primary target groups & ideal marketing channels to raise brand awareness and generate new business & referrals.
Next, I established a marketing plan for the first year in business, giving the team a practical time & project management tool for all marketing campaigns & activities and a way to monitor the costs & results.
Going forward, I was available for ongoing marketing support on an ad-hoc basis.
